National Center for Contemporary Art (NCCA) St.Petersburg Branch

NCCA is a governmental organization for support and promotion of contemporary visual art. The main interests of NCCA in St.Petersburg include:
- Art projects and cultural events aimed at establishing a dialogue between contemporary art and St.Petersburg cultural background. We develop this theme in three main directions:
- Art in public spaces: art in the streets, in offices and homes;
- Art reconstructing post-Soviet degraded industrial areas;
- Contemporary art in classic museums.
- Petersburg art now. Projects aimed at interaction between generations of Petersburg art. Young art in the city.
- International projects. Integration of Petersburg art in worldwide art process. Projects representing international contemporary art in Petersburg and Russia, as well as those representing Russian art abroad.

St.Petersburg branch of NCCA possesses a residence for artists in the town of Kronstadt near Petersburg. There, artists are invited to live and work within the framework of international art exchange programs.
